2020 Fremont Solstice Parade

Saturday June 20, 2020 at 1:00 pm

Start: NW 39th St and Leary Way NW
Finish: Gas Works Park for the Fremont Solstice Celebration

Celebrate with us on the longest day of the year with the Fremont Arts Council’s most spectacular event! Join more than 40 dazzling community-based ensembles parading down the streets of Fremont with giant puppets, stilt walkers, floats, dancers and musicians in this kaleidoscope of joyous human expression. Then, we end the parade with the Fremont Solstice Celebration at Gas Works Park, where we celebrate with local and national street bands, food trucks, beer garden, and more art!

What makes the Fremont Solstice Parade unique?

    • EVERYONE CAN BE AN ARTIST. Full participation is completely open to the public.
    • PEOPLE POWERED. No motorized vehicles are allowed
    • ALL ABOUT THE ART. No printed words or logos are allowed. Participants relish the challenge of proclaiming their message through creative expression.
