Luminata is closer than you think! Gather with us at the COW to imagine art, experiences, and performances that can work together around Green Lake Park to transform the entire space into the event. You may meet someone else with an installation or experience that would be a wonderful complement to your own! Are you a performance group that would love light up the night? We may be able to help you achieve that! Come to the COW at 7pm at the Powerhouse at 3940 Fremont Avenue N. Questions?  Email  Luminata@fremontartscouncil.org. Also, don’t forget to mark your calendar for Luminata on Saturday September 21 at 7pm at Green Lake Park.

Luminata  Saturday, September 21, 7 pm at Green Lake

Join us at Green Lake Park for the Autumnal Equinox on September 21st to bid farewell to summer and move gently into autumn with our annual illuminated celebration.  We begin with a ceremony at the Aqua Theater on the south shore of Green Lake. Hand-made lanterns created at workshops by your friends and neighbors will be available for sale at our Lantern Shoppe beginning at 6:00 PM. Everyone is invited to bring lanterns, glowing umbrellas, luminous costumes, or other beaming creations and join the procession around the lake. Throughout the park, you will encounter magical art installations, music, performances, and a secret banquet!

Workshop hosts will be on hand to guide you through the process. This is a make 3- take 1 workshop.
