Virtual Fremont Solstice Parade: Volunteer and Art Submission Details!

Have you heard the good news? The Fremont Solstice Parade has gone virtual! And just like the parade, we need your help to make it happen!

In our effort to provide even a small fraction of our historical parade, Fremont Arts Council in Partnership with TPN and NASH (Northwest Arts Streaming Hub) are producing a virtual version of the FSP 2020. The program will be released on FAC Facebook and YouTube June 20 at 1pm (Pacific Time). The FSP Virtual Event will be a compilation of prerecorded historical archives, art, ensemble, personal testimonies, and Green Hat Go-Getters content. This year’s theme will be Past, Present & Future.

Cheer Seattle and friends, will lead the green hat ensemble. Our very own FSP co-founder Peter Toms will be co-hosting the historical (Past) portion of our program, Harper will co-host (Present) portion along with the newest addition, Scarlet Parke; a Seattle resident, musician, influencer and frequent parade participant (Future).

  • Volunteer: You can help with marketing, sponsorships, submission review or making fun Green Hat videos
  • Submit Content: You can submit newly created performances, a past film of your participation in the Fremont Solstice Parade, an interview, story, or “what the Fremont Solstice Parade means to You” that you film
