Greetings! You are joyfully invited to May Day. This free event celebrates the beginning of summer with features including a community potluck picnic, flower headdress making, children's games, live music, and of course a dance around the Maypole. All ages are welcome.

Please bring a dish to share (and a label specifying ingredients; gluten-free/nut-free encouraged but not required). You may also optionally choose to bring a picnic blanket or flowers from your garden for making headdresses (some flowers and materials will also be provided).

For the Maypole dance, we will be having a more directed & intentional weaving of the Maypole ribbon this year led by one of our creative members. We have 50 ribbons waiting for folks to claim them. Be on the lookout for the sign up! There will also be a children's Maypole for little ones to enjoy.

For friends of Rodman Miller (long term May Day organizer), note that a small remembrance will be held around the Maypole after the dance.
