Ro Stastny
Ro is a local illustrator based in Fremont/Wallingford. Their concept features a whimsical, storybook-inspired animal parade winding through a colorful woodland scene—with a subtle nod to the Fremont Troll.
Camilla Franklin
Camilla is a Seattle-based art director and children’s illustrator. Inspired by local wildlife, their concept features herons, bunnies, and sockeye salmon parading through the city in a lively summer scene.
Jessica Hoofnagle
Jessica, a lifelong Seattleite, draws inspiration from the joy and scale of the parade. Their concept highlights vibrant insect life—celebrating often-overlooked creatures and the larger-than-life feeling of the event.
Sarah Miller
Sarah M brings a playful and irreverent concept to the mix, centered around the iconic Flying Spaghetti Monster—leaning fully into the Solstice Parade’s spirit of humor and absurdity.
Aya Borucki
Aya is a Seattle-based illustrator and printmaker. Their submission reflects a strong background in poster design, with a concept rooted in bold visuals and print-inspired composition.
Doug Keith
Doug’s concept uses a bold silhouette style to capture the energy of the parade, featuring a nude bike rider, Fremont Troll, marching band, parade float, and cheering crowd in a lively, repeating composition.
