Fremont Solstice Parade Poster Design Contest
Calling all artists! Would you like to design the poster for one of Fremont’s most iconic events?
Deadline: Monday April 20th
The Fremont Arts Council is looking for artwork that captures the spirit of the Fremont Solstice Parade — whimsical, exuberant, irreverent, and celebratory.
This is your chance to create the official poster for the parade and have your work seen across Fremont and beyond.
How to Enter
Please email the following materials to: jenny@fremontartscouncil.org
Include:
A brief description or sketch of your concept
A few samples of your previous work
Poster Template
A downloadable template is available to help guide your design layout. It highlights elements such as QR codes, sponsor logos, and required event copy that will be added to the final poster after submission. You do not need to include these elements in your design—just consider them as you create your artwork.
Selection Process & Awards
A panel will review all submissions and select a group of finalists.
The public will then vote to choose the winning design.
The winning artist will receive:
$500 stipend to produce the final poster design
Recognition on the final poster
Recognition on the Fremont Arts Council website, email list, and social media
Their artwork featured on the official Fremont Solstice Parade T-shirt, inspired by the winning poster design
